The ADOC Boards
Each Board is made up of varying members – those directly elected in a way similar to that for Ward Councillors and members appointed by the Council.
Board Members are elected or appointed to represent the interests of their Board and the drainage, flood risk and associated environmental management needs of the community it serves.
The day to day management of the Boards is led by the Chief Executive, supported by managers, officers, skilled operators and craftsmen responsible for specific services including Corporate, Finance, Engineering and Asset Management. Much of the operational work of the drainage boards is undertaken by contractors.
